Back in KL for a week.

After three months in Bali, I thought it was time to go home. Mainly I needed to change my visa. I first arrived in Bali with a Tourist Visa (applied at the embassy in KL) and was given a 60-days visa, extendable each month up to 4 times (total 6 months). Once I exit Indonesia within this period, the visa will expire and I have to start all over again. It was also quite inconvenient since I was literally far away from the immigration office in Denpasar and my immigration agent in Ubud. So my agent suggested that I applied for a 1-year multiple entry business visa, which I had to pick up back at the Indonesian embassy in KL.

So with this visa I should have no problem shuttling back and forth Bali-KL every month. I have pre-booked all my flights up to June next year thanks to Air Asia promotion as well. I kinda miss my friends, food and a bit of shopping in KL all this while.

I got my International Driving Permit done at AAM (RM160 a year. urgh)

Say Food! Crepe cake by Humble Beginnings.

 Papparich Pulut kuning.
 Guilty of Nando's.
..and Ikea. I miss local food too but for that, I reserved it for the Penang trip tomorrow!

..and friends! It's so hard to meet everyone at one go these days.

I like to look at lotus bloom.

Lotus blooms/plant always fascinate me. After almost three months since I bought from the local nursery, the first bloom shot up. I find it strange that many neighbours have never seen this flower, and they got so curious about it. Perhaps because this village is about 800m high above sea level.

I set up this little pond in front of my host's house when I first arrived. The bloom with the old, abandoned kitchen in the background.
