Sky Bar Lounge @ Traders Hotel KL

Last night I had a great time celebrating another bff's birthday at Sky Bar. Really cosy, contemporary place to chill out with friends . As the name suggests, you're on the 33rd floor, gazing at the illuminated twin towers (KLCC) and KL cityscape with lounge music on air. It gets really crowded most of the time so do yourself a favor and reserve, Darrlingg.

Dior Glasses

After googling the Chanel glasses on previous post, I searched high and low for the perfect (in my own dreamy world) glasses at so many optical shops in KL. The truth is, it's bloody hard to find Chanel glasses that have large frame, mind you.I went to Pavillion and found a shop that has quite a selection.

Option 1: 
Chanel Sunglasses at RM1100 a pop. Chanel was so axy waxy and was not on sale, plus I have to change the glasses to clear ones.Err no thanks.

Option 2-68:
Save all the dramas and your time. Next.

Option 69:
Dior clear glasses with tortoiseshell frame. RM936 with 30% discount. Perfect! Exactly what I wanted because I don't have to change the glasses. Love the slight heaviness of the frame. At RM720, I maxed my magic card to the Dior sky.

Perhaps you wonder why I chose to look a lil dorky? Well I'm kinda tired to look gorgeous daunting all the time. At least that's what they say. Glasses are accessories, you walk in them,rrightt?. While I enjoy looking a bit dorky, I decided to choose "female" brand such as Chanel and Dior (Not Dior Homme) so that would poke fun at it. I like it thought-provoking, Darrlinggg.

Dsquared² Spring Summer 2011

I love this season's collection. It's classic and immaculate. Normally, I see rugged jeans and funky sweaters and stuff but this time it looks like a cool grown up collection. I would love to see them on display soon! Not like there's any Dsquared² boutique in KL anyway.

Bally White Sneakers

Here's an impulse purchase of the preppy side of me, Darrlingg. Remember the Walk of Shame Shoes story I wrote before? Well this pair is the replacement of that pair. There weren't many pairs available in my size at that outlet, and within my budget of  €120. I like the white/silver/gray effects of the shoes. This pair is one of the heaviest shoes I have on my shelves.

John Galliano Spring Summer 2011

Oh my, I still remember the only shop I didn't go in Rue Saint Honoré Paris was John Galliano. It looks so friggin expensive scary haute couture I'm afraid when I walk out of the store my wardrobe will look like Charlie Chaplin couture or something. Plus my magic cards will max to the fashion sky.

But then again, his clothes are theatrical and magnificent if you can pull them off. I know many of you can (wink).  Work it, y'all.

My dream closet: Love the pants on the left:I'm gona have to put on shirt though.

Next, can I wrap my belt like that? I've always wanted to do that.Minus the netting.

Oh Love the trench coat except that it's not suitable for our climate in KL.

Moschino Spring Summer 2011

My favourite pop art graphics appear on Moschino! Andy Warhol & Roy Lichtenstein meet your favorite rock stars this season, a smart collection headed by Bill Shapiro. I like my clothes to be cheerful just like these.

My crème de la crème top three picks: Lichtenstein print shirt (look at the shoes!) and these jackets.

 Bright pop art colors ,eh?Dressing up is fun :-D

Not too sure about these rock star look, but why not?

I can't wait to see the collection hit the store. Thank goodness there's Moschino in KL, although the shoes will never appear here I'm sure...Anyway, I want to have a good time with Moschino clothes already!

MuseMono in Leopard Hat

While I was in Penang, my friend's mother took out this hat that looked great on her but, Darrlingg..on me? Of course I look silly, you silly! Well well I was toying with the shape of the hat so that you can see the subtle effects. Fine, go ahead and laugh.

Chanel Discreet Lipstick

Darrlingg, it's a lil taboo but heck, even Jean Paul Gaultier came up with his Men's cosmetic line. Since I can't bloody find JPG stuff here, Chanel goes top of my list. My lips need some Chanel loving too, so some hint of color that also moisturizes is acceptable, non? Ironically, the color code is called "Discreet." It's not glossy or whatsoever, and it's really close to my lips color. Go get one Darrlingg, I know you want one ever since you secretly tried your mum's lipstick when you were 8yo, righttt?

D&G Spring Summer 2011

I have to say I am really excited to see D&G's collection. It reminds me of the pleasure when you can appreciate simple things in life. 

 The Vichy check fabric reminds me of my uniform back when I was at pre-school. Nostalgic yet charming.

Accessories from Fourskin (Whattt!!!)

Fourskin, a quirky brand from Singapore is a nice place to shop when you're:
1) need quirky weirdo accessories to have fun with
2) almost broke but need retail therapy

Although I didn't think the name "Fourskin" as funny or clever, but heck, if I like the stuff they sell, I won't deny it. Hilarious stuff,eh?

Vogue US - July 2010

Cover girl  Marion Cotillard looks smoking hot gorgeous beautiful fantastic fabulous pretty stunning jolie on this July cover. Wearing Dior of course, gosh you notice how thin and long her neck is, err.. I'd like to think it's not Photoshopped lol. Anyway love love her ever since I watched the movie "A good year".

Sunset Bistro in Penang Island

For those of you who might have not heard of Penang, it's a state that also comprises an island up north of Malaysia.4h30 by bus, an hour by plane from KL.

I went there few days ago to visit a friend's family. So I thought I'm gona share with you guys one of my favourite hang out bar area. It's called Sunset Bistro, true to it's name, I arrived there at 5pm and bask under the sun for a bit, then lovely sunset approached.
